Constipation is very common problem for children. For most children, constipation means passing hard stools with difficulty less often than normal regular soiling may indicate that a child has bad constipation causing a blockage of the lower part of the gut. where no particular disease or illness is the cause of the constipation. It is important that constipation be recognised early to prevent it from becoming a long-term (chronic) problem. Constipation has many causes. Common causes include slow movement of stool within the colon, irritable bowel syndrome and pelvic floor disorder, underlying associated diseases include hypothyroidism, diabetes, parkinson’s disease, celiac disease, non-celiac gluten, sensitivity, colon cancer, diverticulitis inflammatory bowel disease.
